Pelias

Character for my 2022 portfolio at Syn Studio. The project is a reimagining of 'Jason and the Argonauts' as a historical fantasy set along the Silk Road.
Pelias is the cruel khagan of Iolcus who sent the Argonauts on a suicide mission to Colchis. Has a penchant for crafting accessories out of the bones and hair of his prey (both human and beast). These are trophies he wears proudly: serving as proof of his victories and warnings to his enemies.
